Dub

I don't listen to dub much these days.  I could be wrong here but I blame it on CDs and worse still mp3/iTunes type formats.  Music played on a great turntable just sounded "warmer"; the bass deeper and "rounder".  I imagine none of these are terms of which audiophiles would approve but of the sentiment I expect, or at least hope, they would.

Pub Grub


A crisp cold day here in Toronto.  Just the day to spend at a window seat in a pub with a glass of good bitter and a book (and no, not a kindle, iPad or any such thing).  Perhaps a day to reflect on the excess of the past week and have one more for the road.
